Welcome to Gut Health for Parkinson’s
Gut Health for Parkinson’s is a dedicated nutrition education programme designed specifically for people with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners. This comprehensive initiative recognises the crucial role that gut health plays in the context of Parkinson’s and aims to empower participants through evidence-based dietary education.
The Importance of Gut Health in Parkinson’s Disease

Recent research highlights the significant influence of the gut in Parkinson’s disease. Diet is a key factor that can affect both gut health and overall well-being. By supporting a healthy gut, individuals may be able to manage symptoms more effectively and potentially slow the progression of the disease.
Programme Design and Content
The Gut Health for Parkinson’s programme has been developed by registered dietitians, utilising the latest scientific evidence. Participants will engage with a series of informative and practical videos, presented by our avatar, Kayla. Through these videos, you will discover actionable strategies to enhance your gut health through nutrition.

The programme is delivered in cohorts, ensuring that every participant receives support from our team of registered dietitians. This includes access to the “Ask the Dietitian” chat support group and participation in three live webinars. Each participant is granted three months of access, allowing them to progress through the programme at a comfortable, self-directed pace.
